The Lightweight Axe (B) is best understood as a compact camp and property axe—not a replacement for a full-size splitting maul or felling axe. Its strength is controlled work: reducing small firewood, trimming limbs, preparing kindling, and completing jobs where a knife is undersized but a larger axe would be unnecessary.

The black coating protects much of the head, but the sharpened edge remains exposed steel. Wipe the head clean and dry after use, apply a light coat of suitable oil before extended storage, and avoid striking rocks, metal, or heavily frozen wood. Keep the leather edge cover dry and allow it to air out before storage.
